Les Mûriers (Mulberry Trees) welcomes you in a spacious open plan
apartment set up
in the old hayloft of a 18th century Provencal farmhouse,
next to the main house and its square courtyard.
In the open country, the property, with a southern exposure, is
located
in a 1.5-hectare park, with trees and meadow,
sunny all day long – and all through the year !
3/4 hr from Avignon, 1hr from Aix en Provence and Orange,
Les Mûriers is the ideal spot to enjoy the numerous and famous
art festivals
(musical, theatre, dance, films, etc…)
organised in spring, summer and autumn in the Luberon and
Provence in general,
to visit the famous and splendid villages of the region (Luberon
and Alpilles),
to stroll the picturesque open-air markets, to stop at the famous
antique dealers
in l’Isle sur la Sorgue.
During your stay, you could also have the possibility, if you are
interested,
to discover the wines of the region
(Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Ventoux, Côtes du Luberon),
to visit the vineyards and the cellars, to participate in a wine
tasting training
course in a typical village in the proximity.

This program is organized by a oenologist with high reputation,
expert in the wines of Provence. Applying to small groups, it will
allow you to
access to the secrets of wine tasting. Step by step, through guided
tasting of
selected wines, the oenologist will teach you how to participate in
the pleasure
of wine tasting, an art ! During one day or half a day,
you will deal with the main elements of wine growing and oenology,
from the vineyard to the vinification cellars, a glass in the hand.

From the farmhouse, the region offers numerous walking trails
pedestrians, particularly
in the Nature Reserve of the Luberon. Furthermore, the Gordes’
Tourism Office proposes
diversified cultural and sporting activities.
The many archaelogical resources located in the region (The Luberon
Natural Reserve),
and the classified historic monuments and old medieval villages will
allow you to organise
interesting visits in these high places of common inheritance of
Provence,
architectural in particular.

Ideal for four to five guests, the ‘open space’ loft conversion
apartment on the first floor
conversion (140 m2 with mezzanine), is very luminous and consists of
three sleeping
areas : one large bed in 160 and two beds in 90 each on the
mezzanine,
one bed in 140 in the loft, fully equipped ‘American’ kitchen with
bar, dining area,
bathroom with bath, wasching machine, shower room, WC, spacious
sitting/library room,
wood stove, billiards, TF, TV (national channels),
CD and DVD player, video cassette player, radio/hi-fi.
Two large windows give wonderful views, one to the south with a nice
view on the plain,
the swimming pool and the Luberon mountain, the other to the west,
towards the village of Gordes.
The appartment offers a free entrance and a private shaded garden,
southwest,
under the mulberry trees, with a big stone table, garden furniture
and barbecue.
Our swimming pool (6m / 12 m ; 1,5 m depth) is at our guests’
disposal, either to be shared
with the owners or according to time ranges mutually agreed upon.
Sunny almost all day long, the pool is located not far from the
house and the apartment,
and is protected and has a private rest zone for the guests,
surrounded by trees, with a stone table and pool access.
